UNited to End Violence Against Women.
The Metro NY Chapter and the National Board of USNC-UN Women Present
an Afternoon CSW Panel and an Evening Reception.
Join us for an evening reception at the renowned Ana Tzarev Gallery to unite to end violence against women. We will also recognize organizations that are helping to end violence against women. We will look forward to seeing you at this special reception during CSW. Please join us for the afternoon panel event as well. Details below.

Wine and hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Emcee: Roz Abrams, TV Journalist, women's rights advocate
Special Guests: Don McPherson former NFL football player and a national leader and advocate for the prevention of sexual and domestic violence. Don is on the board of the US National Committee for UN Women.
Linda Fairstein former prosecutor and head of the sex crimes unit of the Manhattan District Attorney's office and best-selling crime novelist, is America's foremost legal expert on crimes of violence against women and children. She is also vice chair of the Joyful Heart Foundation (founded by actress Mariska Harkitay).

Entertainment: The Piers Lawrence Quartet
This Ana Tzarev sculpture is part of a series of connected sculptures,
which span the planet and carry a global message of love, peace and understanding. Guests will have an oportunity to have their photo taken in front of the sculpture and talk about "Why Love Doesn't Hurt."

The UN Women United States National Committee (UN Women-USNC) is an independent non-governmental organization that supports the mission of UN Women through programs, advocacy, public education about UN Women and global women’s issues, and fund-raising efforts to support UN Women programs worldwide.
UN Women-USNC is able to fulfill this mission of education and fundraising through city chapters across the country.
The USNC-UN Women’s Metro NY Chapter was founded in 1987 and is comprised of 200+ members across all ages and professions.
